Key Project Components
Working as Owner’s engineer, ICX provided design oversight on Dynamic Message Sign CCTV installations, license plate readers for travel time calculation, traffic signal detection, communications, and power.
ICX provided functional and design requirements for a satellite/back-up TMC including overall telecommunications migration planning and implementation support.
ICX also developed a long term strategic plan addressing capital, operations and maintenance needs of the City’s technology program. The focus of this plan is on ensuring traffic signal operations are continued, and leveraging the assets in place for the traffic signal system to support a sustainable and environmentally sensitive transportation network.
